Standards for Certificate Programs

A facilitated discussion with panel members and participants from the audience about the new certificate programs that ANSI, NOCA and LERN are working on. Apparently, they are very new, some in pilot testing and some have differing set-ups. Our network group wants to know as much information about these programs as possible and to understand how this helps them clear out the confusion between certificate programs and certification programs. They want to understand why it would be important to take a certificate program to the highest level of quality and what, if any, relationship this has with the larger conversation specific to certification.
